Hi friends! Hope you had a great weekend. Last night was the first time in a long time that I actually got the Sunday scaries. We had just put the kids to bed and I turned to Mitch and asked him where the weekend went.
Last week we were all feeling a bit under the weather, which was no surprise. The weekend before, was the first time since quarantine started that we went out and were around people (socially distancing as much as possible). I think our immune systems are all low from quarantine and mix that with allergies, it was the perfect storm. We all had runny noses and were a bit congested. I think it hit me the worst and but I’m feel waaay better today and appreciate everyone that reached out and sent a dm, text or called to check in. YOU mean so much to me!
The bright side is I actually took it easy. Friday night, I left my phone in another room, curled up on the couch and watched a classic, Sleepless in Seattle. Such a good rom-com. Meg Ryan serves the best cozy-night-in look, too. You know me, I did some shopping for us all, incase you like this comfy look as much as I do.

Saturday, was of course pancake day where Mitch makes the best cakes in all the land. After brunch, while the kids napped we checked off our honey-do list by installing a new chandy in the dinning room! It’s only taken me 7 years to make a move, but who’s counting?

While we’re on the topic of dining, I have to admit we ordered in way too much this weekend that I’m currently on the hunt for something delicious to cook up tonight. Any ideas? I’ll be sure to share what I end up making on the gram.
Hope you have a great week!
xx,
Kat
