Looking for something to watch, read, listen to or wear this weekend? Look no further, this weekend memo has you covered.
BINGE WORTHY
Normal People, a captivating love story that I was drawn to not only for its romantic story line but of all things, the character’s wardrobe (shocker) and dreamy European scenes. This 12-part drama follows the budding high school relationship of teens Marianne and Connell. Coming from two totally different backgrounds, this love story has me wanting more in hopes of a second season.

I promise you’ll want to put on your favorite sweat set, grab a bottle of wine and cuddle up on the couch all weekend long.
WHAT TO WEAR

WHAT TO LISTEN TO

I love getting lost in a good book whenever possible. Lately, my multitasking skills look a lot like cleaning the house while listening to Audible. Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman had me wondering where the story was going from the start. I first posted about this book last fall here after I asked my friends on IG what they were reading. I ended up loving the socially awkward Eleanor and laughing out loud at her brutally honest opinions. This one is a light hearted “page turner” or in my case chore distraction.
WHAT TO READ

I’ve had this one if front of me for a while now, but have finally got a chance to dive in (mostly at night or in the early morning while the kids are sleeping). All the Light We Cannot See is a fictional war novel and the 2015 Pulitzer Prize winner written by American author Anthony Doerr. I started reading it (again – because I wasn’t able to get past the first couple of pages the first time) and look forward to each opportunity I get to read, even if it’s just a couple of pages at a time. Pick up your copy here and read along with me!
WHAT TO DRINK

The perfect blend for fall, Apothic Red is a California wine that indulges the senses with notes of black cherry, vanilla and mocha. For under $10, this is a fall favorite that’s hard to beat.
