Over the years, I’ve found that my Ray-Bans are my most worn pair of shades. Because of their versatility and the fact that I don’t have to think about whether or not they’re going to look good with what I’m wearing, the light weight classic frames are what I typically throw on when I’m heading out the door.
Flattering on all face shapes, aviators lend a classic cool vibe to nearly any ensemble — think Tom Cruise in Top Gun, Kate Hudson in Almost Famous, the Olsen twins and their always iconic street style. The list goes on.
Originally developed in the 1930s, the US government commissioned Ray-Ban to design the sunny style for Air Force pilots. Nearly 80 years later, the same frames have maintained their popularity.
