The Bodycon Dress

Three ways to style a bodycon dress for multiple occasions

If you’re like me and are hesitant when it comes to wearing form fitting apparel, you’ve come to the right place. Unless it’s a special occasion or I get a wild hair and want to feel sexy, wearing a bodycon dress is something I would typically find to be intimidating.

However, having a platform where I share my style and tips on outfitting has really given me the confidence to step out of my comfort zone, be more creative and adventurous in my everyday looks and have fun, knowing that tomorrow’s a new day, which means a new outfit and a new opportunity to inspire you to do the same!

Which, brings me back to this dress which I paired here with my favorite denim jacket for a pop of color. Going for a more cool, casual vibe, and to give my look some texture, I chose to wear these suede stacked heel sandals and added in some fun with these trendy acrylic hoop earrings and cat eye sunnies. This looks could work for a day-date (and you could easily toss the jacket and throw your hair up for a night out).

For a dressier work environment or dinner, you could totally pull this dress off by pairing it with this black ribbed duster and my favorite go-to sandals (that I have in two colors, ’cause they’re just as comfortable as they are chic).

Or, if your office is like mine or you want to go for an edgier vibe, style your bodycon with a utility jacket, statement earrings and pep-toe pumps.
